The Diamonds

KING OF DIAMONDS - Ivan J. Felder III

In obvious light, behind hidden clues, you see there’s Einstein and also a Stooge.

Seemingly opposites, it is hard to find that they exist in similar states of mind.

They both have minds that are very free and rich with creativity. Hence, a diamond centered somehow seems to provide a link between two extremes.

The point of this is to claim that two opposites are often the same.

QUEEN OF DIAMONDS

Liz Van Voorhis

My card represents things I like to do and my outlook on life.

I play the violin, paint and plan to go on a road trip to the states listed in my artwork. I see things in “black and white,” (hence the checkers) and I feel that whenever I plan things, they don’t work out.

JACK OF DIAMONDS

Dana Sherwood

Two Faces. There are two faces to living. One is the one that is physical, and the other one is within. Whichever one you show, the other will always be in its shadow.

10 OF DIAMONDS - Dana Sherwood

9 OF DIAMONDS - Liz Wiegand

The main theme of my card is love, because it is a great part of my life. Sometimes love can tie you up or hold you back. It can frustrate you but it can also make you happy and feel as if you are in flight.

8 OF DIAMONDS - Julia King

The diamond represents you.

Everyone. Not every diamond in the world shines all the way. Some are covered in dirt so you can’t see their possibilities and beauty. But when the rain comes (shown only a little bit on the background of the card) perhaps it will be washed away. Only through showers and showers of rain, the hard times that you will have in your life, you can look complete and light up the world.

The success never comes before the words “effort” and “try.”

7 OF DIAMONDS - Dana Sherwood

Every part of this picture tells a story. What do you see?

6 OF DIAMONDS - Serena Altschuler

Each of the diamonds represents my family members.

The chain of diamonds in the center represents how I have become a part of each of them.

5 OF DIAMONDS

Larry Moragne

Like me, these diamonds have 5 sides, the 4 plus a hidden 5th, the one looking at you.

Within me you will find a war for control, creativity, comedy, intellect and family, but above all, my rage.

Look into this card and see, not paper and pastels, but a soul at war with itself.

4 OF DIAMONDS - Annice Allen

ACE OF DIAMONDS - Dovita Douglass

My card represents the one thing that is my diamond, my love, my strength, my everything…

The Ace of Diamonds is my son.

3 OF DIAMONDS - Connie R. Berger

The three diamonds of creativity which inspire artists are memory, observation and imagination.

2 OF DIAMONDS

Jeff Scott

My piece is an essay in dovetailing two elements:

I tried to visually link important elements in my life, B-Ball and F-Ball.
